Examination
ELIGIBILITY FOR
EXAMINATION
To become a member of the Institute of the
Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan, a person has
to pass the final exam conducted by the
Institute twice in a year. A person who have
passed the graduation examination of a
university recognize by University Grant
Commission or any other qualification deemed as
equivalent thereto by the Council of the
Institute is eligible for admission to the
examination.

However on the basis of some qualifications and
membership of other professional institutes the
"Exemptions from Individual Paper(s)
" are also
available.
REGISTRATION AS A
STUDENT
The examination is conducted twice a year in
January and July. The registration for
examination is open throughout the year. The
candidates registered up to and including the
month of May in a year are eligible for
appearing in examination held in July of the
year and those registered up to and including
the month of November are eligible to appear in
the examination held in January of next year.
REGISTRATION PERIOD AND
TIME LIMIT FOR EXAMINATION
A candidate is registered for a period of five
years from the month in which his application,
is accepted for registration as student. A
registered student is required to pass the final
examination within the registration period of
five years. A candidate who is a graduate and is
not less than 18 years of age may apply for
registration as a student by submitting an
application Form. The registration from as a
student may be obtained from the office of the
Institute or may be download from the web site
(Please download our complete prospectus which
contains the from of registration).
The application for registration as student
should be accompanied by attested copies of
certificates in support of educational
qualifications and a pay order, bank draft
amounting to RS. 3,250/= being the payment of
registration fees as student. The minimum amount
payable along with the application for
registration is RS. 3250/= consisting of RS.
600/= towards registration fee, RS. 1500/=
towards exemption fees form the various
subjects, RS. 700/= towards examination fee and
RS. 400/= as annual subscription. The fee should
be remitted by way of demand draft or pay order
drawn in favor of the Institute of Corporate
Secretaries of Pakistan. Karachi. The above fees
may be deposited in cash at Karachi head office.
The examination of the Institute are currently
being held at Karachi. Lahore, Islamabad,
Peshawar and Quetta simultaneously.
The dates for enrollment are:
10th June (with late
fee of RS. 400/=. Upto 20th June) for July
examination.
10 December (with late fee RS. 400/=. Upto 20
December) for January examination.
